The Nikon 13.5cm (135mm) f3.5 Nikkor-Q.C is a manual focus, telephoto lens by Nippon Kogaku Tokyo made for the Nikon rangefinder system. It was first released in December of 1950 as a faster update on the 135mm f4. The optical construction is still based on the Zeiss Sonnar design but the lens was updated to have a more modern (for the time) 43mm filter thread. It was a popular lens among photojournalists of the time who appreciated this lens' combination of slightly more speed, good telephoto reach and lightweight and compact design.
This is the later version of the 13.5cm f3.5 with focusing, aperture and depth-of-field rings all in black as well as the redesigned focusing ring for easier grip.
This lens has the Nikon S rangefinder mount. While very similar to the Contax rangefinder mount, this lens will not focus accurately on Contax cameras.
